Cupcake Craft Challenge # 59 Cute as a Bug!

Hi Everyone well it's raining today and a great day to craft, it would be if we didn't have school holidays. I love having my boys home for the holidays but it's so hard to concentrate whilst they ask questions all the time.
Cute as a Bug!! What an amazing theme I just love images with bugs in them of all sorts.

COLOUR CREATE CHALLENGE #28 HOT PINK, DUSKY PINK, ICE CHOCOLATE

Good Evening Everyone. Another first for me this week is to enter Color Create Challenge for the very first time. It's also a first for me to make a card in Chocolate and Pink. I've wanted to for so long but I just needed that gentle nudge.LOL Now I've made it I think I've gone over board with the Pinks, the Pearls and the Swirls. Here is my card recipe.

Colour Medium: Water Colour Pencils and Chocolate and Hot Pink Glitter Gel Pens. Lizzie's shoes have been coloured with Chocolate Glitter Pen
Embellishments: Pearls from my stash they are in Lizzie's bow in her hair, one on the front of her dress on the front of her shoes and at the left hand side of the card. The Flowers have been coated with Glass Coat to give them a 3D effect and the wonderful ribbon I bought a few weeks ago in anticipation in making a Chocolate and Pink card. The ribbon is Baby Pink, Dusky and Pot Pink and Dark Chocolate and 2 Swirl Flourishes
Tools: Water Brush, Cuttlebug and Cuttlbug Embossing Folder Divine Swirls, Bosskit Flourish and a Chocolate and Dusky Pink Versamark Ink Pads for all the edges.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge # 11

Good Morning Everyone and here it is Thursday morning in New Zealand where has the week gone??!! It's been such a busy week and tomorrow is the end of term for two weeks for my boys they'll want to go to the beach house if it's sunny or snow skiing what ever happens I'm the taxi driver as my husband will be working.
This is my first entry into Sunday Stamp & Sketch Challenge this is another first for me there's been a couple like that lately so here it goes.

Stamp Something Your Favourite Colour or Paper

Good Afternoon everyone, A special friend is having her 40 th Birthday tomorrow and I know that her bedroom are in these colours and the girls are going out for lunch to celebrate. So I wanted to get this card finished so I could enter it into this challenge and it is a first time for me to enter into Stamp Somethings Challenge.
Favourite Colours together I don't have any favourite colours together my mother use to say "All colours go together that's Nature" and she was right. I'm definitely a Winter person and love the brighter colours I'm not really into pastels. Each of the Sweet Peas have had about 3 coats of Glass Coat so they stand out and shine.

Secret Crafter Challenge # 50 One For The Girls

THIS CARD HAS BEEN MADE FOR A SPECIAL FRIEND OF MINE
Well here it is Saturday afternoon and our Soccer Season has finished today with a tournament which my son's team came second and over all for the season both my boys came second in their grade's. They did really well and I'm very proud of them both. Next week the trial's for cricket start and next month cricket season opens. Oh well they say there's no rest for the wicked LOL.

Once each of the Sweet Peas had been painted they were then painted with Glass Coat to give them a shine otherwise they looked dull. I was quite happy with how this card turned out.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge # 49

Happy 13th Birthday Dude!!!
Well when I got back from Skiing on Monday and read this Challenge I new I could handle this one as there are mostly boys and men in my extened family and we are very limited on the female sex. I have two sons 8 and 10 and I always seem to be making male birthday cards for the numerous parties they go to. Alfie's sunglasses have been filled in with Glass Coat to make them stand out and look like Sunglasses.

This is my first ever Penny Black Challenge, when I saw the challenge I thought it would be great if I had some Penny Black stamps. In bed last night I had a brain wave LOL Yes I had forgotten that I had purchased the set of Penny Black Stamp Set 12 Days of Christmas then I realised that there was a couple of stamps that could be used.

Design Paper: Gold Paper pack from the Warehouse some time ago.

Pearls from Craft Creations and the Diamond in the Ring, was a Gem from my stash also from Craft Creations. Gold Hearts cut from Hippe Chick Alphabet from Cuttlebug.

Cupcake Craft Challenge #56 RED WHITE & BLUE

RED WHITE & BLUE
This weeks Cupcake Craft Challenge the colours are RED WHITE & BLUE. I love these colours especially having boys and making boy cards. This card was made last week for my son Ryan's 8th birthday. He's always walking around the house as though he's playing an Electric Guitar so when I saw this image it was just perfect for him. I took a photo as you do LOL and this has now fitted this challenge. The Electric Guitar has been coated with about 4 coats of Glass Coat to make it shine and also to stand out.

Sunday Sketch & Stamp Challenge # 10

Stamptacular Sunday Challenge 22


Hi Everyone,
Here it is Thursday for me already, this week has gone so quickly and last week was a complete right off. I had two boys turning 8 and 10, they had a shared birthday party with 20 children invited they play Laser Skirmish which was great we live on 2 1/2 acre's with a pond and bridge and plenty of garden area to hide.
